Josephine graduated with honors from SUNY at Buffalo and began her career as an OT in 1996. In 2000, she obtained a Post-professional Masters in OT and in 2001, obtained the Certification in Hand Therapy. Josephine enjoyed sharing her ideas, skills and knowledge as guest lecturer at the Florida Hand Therapy Society, Adjunct professorship at Long Island University, speaking opportunities at ASHT and the NYU Tisch Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Josephine has a strong clinical background in upper extremity rehabilitation and has treated a variety of diagnoses and clinical syndromes. She worked as a clinical supervisor at Bellevue Hospital Center (Level l Trauma Center) for many years. Responsibilities included supervision and clinical training for staff therapists, program development, and consultation of therapeutic services for surgeons. Patient specific treatment planning and Hands on implementation of treatments are the focus of services rendered by Josephine. Patient satisfaction and patient improvement are measuring factors for ultimate service improvement. Patient participation is a must in the therapeutic process and feedback are always welcomed.

Winnie Tsui specializes in therapy of the hand wirst, elbow and shoulder of adults and children. Winnie had been the Clinical Specialist of the Hand Therapy Department at NYU RUSK Institute of Rehabilitation Adjunct Proffesor of Long Island University Medtronics, Allergan and a medical exprert for the New York Times. She has been a Certified Hand Therapist since 2001, a member of the American Society of Hand Therpists, New York State Occupational Therapy Association and has extensive experience in rehabilitation, community health, pediatrics private practice and research, Winnie is excited to be a part of the Focus Occupational Therapy practice.
William Jim graduated from SUNY University at Buffalo’s Occupational Therapy program in 2017. He has clinical experience treating a variety of physical and neurological impairments at the sub-acute/long term care facility Highpointe. As well as experience working in an outpatient hand therapy setting at both Pinnacle Orthopedics and Sister’s of Charity Hospital. William is eager to develop his knowledge and contribute his skills at Focus OT.
Ethan Chen graduated from Columbia University’s Occupational Therapy program after earning his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington. He has clinical experience in outpatient rehabilitation and acute care during his fieldwork at New York Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital. Prior to joining the Focus Occupational Therapy, he has worked at Atria Senior Living, Amsterdam Nursing Home, and Terence Cardinal Cooke Nursing Home, where he worked with patient with acute or chronic neurological or orthopedic impairments. Ethan is excited to be part of the Focus Occupational Therapy family.
Jee Yoon Chong
Certified Hand Therapist
Jee Yoon Chong, OTR/CHT graduated from the SUNY-Stony Brook University Occupational Therapy Program in 2009. She began working at Bellevue Medical Center in NYC and began her career in the treatment of hand and upper extremity injuries. Jee Yoon obtained her Certification in Hand Therapy in May, 2015. She has many hours of continuing education related to hand therapy and has been treating patients with orthopedic and neurological injuries since 2010. Jee Yoon is also a certified kinesiotape practitioner since 2011, and holds a certification in physical agent modalities (PAM). Jee Yoon is fluent in both: English and Korean, and values patient education through communication and demonstration for optimal rehabilitation process.
John Liu has been an OT for the past 13 years. He obtained a clinical doctorate degree from George Washington University. He has worked in a variety of setting from pediatrics to geriatrics. He is excited to join the team and contribute to better patient outcomes.
Wing Keung Chin
Wing Keung Chin graduated from SUNY University at Buffalo’s Occupational Therapy program in 2016. His clinical experience include treating patient with orthopedic injuries during his fieldwork at Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital, working in acute care at Buffalo Mercy Hospital, and currently working at Saint Barnabas Hospital. Wing completed his research-treating patient with chronic hemiparesis using modified CIMT protocol at his last year of graduate school. Wing is excited to contribute his skills and knowledge at Focus Occupational Therapy.
